Helping Your Child Learn, Think and Grow

Beth Bozman Education helps primary aged children (4-11) improve their English and Maths, while also teaching them how to learn and reduce their cognitive load. The focus is on developing metacognition (thinking about thinking), building independence and nurturing real-life understanding. Beth Bozman Education believes in teaching skills, as well as knowledge, so children become confident learners.

Please see below for what Beth Bozman Education offers. Feel free to call or use the contact form at the bottom of this page if you have any questions or would like to discuss pricing.

The         Approach

Be
Confident

Each session is flexible and responsive to each child’s unique needs, encouraging them to try new strategies, take risks and learn from mistakes in a supportive environment. Through patience and perseverance, the children develop strong problem-solving skills, thinking skills so that they can grow in confidence and independence.

B
Mindful

Each session nurtures thoughtful, curious and mindful learners by focusing not just on finding answers, but on understanding the processes behind them. By encouraging this inquisitive mindset, we help children become independent, reflective thinkers who take ownership of their learning.

Be
Strategic

The sessions encourage children to see how new information connects with what they already know, helping them become strategic learners. They are encouraged as learners to link ideas, compare concepts and make sense of how things fit together. This supports deeper learning and long-term retention.

B
Observant

The sessions have a thoughtful approach to learning, making time to consider how and why things work. They allow each child to plan, monitor and evaluate their work. Rather than simply looking for quick answers, the children are encouraged to be observant by reflecting on the process and purpose while understanding their mistakes. By thinking deeply, learners build strong foundations and grow into reflective problem-solvers.
